This rug is perfect for what we were looking for. We have light flooring and a green couch and it blends perfectly with the decor. The fringe on the ends is a bit darker than shown in the photo, more of a sand color than off white, but I actually like the look better. Thick pile and real wool, worth the money.
I went to see one in a store and was concerned that it wasn't as "plush" as I wanted but I'm very happy with it now that it is on the floor with a pad under it. Looks rich and expensive.
The colors in this rug are lovely, though it reads a bit dark overall. Best in a bright room, and as others have said, it would work with many color and design schemes. However, I really don't like the cheap looking, machine attached, yellow-beige tea-stained color of the trim and fringe. Ugh. I'd just remove it if the rug itself had finished edges on all sides (rather than just the long sides). It also seems thin.
After emptying out the furniture & moving it all, just received delivery of rug. Rolled it out and the rug wasn't woven correctly. It's missing a run of fibers in 3 different stripes across the rug, making 3 stripes in a design that isn't supposed to have them, because a color and bulk is missing. I'm really unhappy. For what this cost, nobody at Couristan payed attention to the quality of their product? They sure should have. This obviously is a second and is that what you want for over 2K? This rug was shipped directly from Couristan, so I can't lay the blame on Amazon at all. I'm just glad Amazon is customer-oriented
I have been looking for a new area rug for a couple of years. I was a little nervous because the colors don't always look the same when you actually get the rug, however it looked just like in the picture online. There is every color under the rainbow in this rug, so it works well with many different color schemes. My walls are a sage green with dark brown sofa and red chair.The floors are a light hardwood. It blends very nicely. I'm also impressed with the quality of the rug. Definitely worth the price. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, but it was arond the holidays so I'm sure they were very busy. I also purchased very thick rug pad and it feels great under my feet. I have had it about a month now, vacuum daily because of pet hair. I would defintiely recommend this rug!
