Really beautiful and good quality!
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this statue. It looks exactly as pictured, both in design, color and quality. The price is reasonable for the design and quality, and you could give this as a gift and have the recipient think you easily paid more for it than you did. It is sturdy and excellent quality but there is one thing I was disappointed with. The base of the statue is hollowed out rather than solid, and the manufacturer placed a black velvet sticker on the base to cover it up, but you can clearly feel the hollow area through the thin adhesive cover and could easily poke a hole through it if you aren't careful. That is the ONLY fault I could find with this item, and aside from that it is perfect!

So I ordered this because I absolutely love cast iron pieces. They last forever. This piece comes with a felt bottom so safe on wood , glass or other surfaces. Ordered this to use as a projection in front of a spotlight. But it also looks really great in front of our salt lamp . It's perfect for adding depth to other scenes in the backdrop. Cast iron pieces of this size really neat for projection though indoors and outdoors can be protected the same way as any cast Iron pans. I like this alot itw a versatile piece that can always be in display in some way and called upon for dramtic lighting effects. Oh, FYI this swing does not actually swing. It is a stationary but we have considered hanging it from the branch above so that it could sway. It's looks cool swinging in the light if you can get it just right. A Sisco ball spinner might be neat as well - have to try that one! I would recommend this as simple classic decor and any uses already mentioned I wouldn't hesitate to order again - it's well made and just as I hoped 😀
