Perfect for my priorities

I wanted blinds that were easy to move up and down and didn’t have any strings to be safe for my kitten. I discovered honeycomb blinds while staying with a friend and have been looking for some affordable ones since. I went through a ton of different options and settled on these when they went on sale. (The sale was a bit misleading, but that’s unrelated to the product).I really like the light gray/silver color. It goes great with the walls and I think it’ll look cleaner than white over time. The blackout feature is awesome, very nap friendly. I live in the Southeast, so hoping the insulation quality will help a little in the summertime.They move up and down with ease which was my main priority other than no strings. Sometimes the bottom will pop back up a little when I pull them down, but I think that’s because of the angle I have to pull since the bottom is behind the back of the couch. They do go down all the way on a redo.The fit is fine, I was a little worried but I measured my windows and ordered accordingly. There is a tiny gap on each side of the blinds, but not enough to worry about taking them down and ordering the next size up. I also think sizing up on the width may have been too tight a fit and made pulling them up and down more annoying. I might change my mind on this but I’ll live with them a bit and see if it starts to bother me. They still block out more light than my old traditional blinds did so I think I’m satisfied.The material is definitely thinner than my friend’s but fine for me in my small space. They seem simple to dust/keep clean. I think the quality is great for my needs. My cat seems uninterested in messing with them.Finally, the installation was largely easy, according to my husband. You do need a drill and screwdriver. Took less than 20min including removing the old blinds. I’d order more of these (or the no tools version to compare) for other rooms in the future depending on how these hold up.

Great blackout shade

If you want a true blackout shade, this will do just that. We have a west-facing window and just before sunset it's way too bright. We had a cellular light filtering shade that just didn't cut the light like we wanted. This blackout shade blocks all of the light except for a tiny bit on each side. The size in the description is dead on, so measure carefully. Installation was simple - took maybe 10 minutes to install. Quality is good and the shade goes up and down fairly smooth.

Blackout is great

I have searched a long time for blackout curtains for my kids and these so the best job. Block most light (not total blackout ) and most heat also. They are very slow to raise back up and it takes a couple tries to get them all the way up so I’m questionable about the mechanism of raising and lowering and it’s durability. But for the price I understand. I just won’t let me kids move them around as I think that would break them easily.

Very cool and super dark!

I got the grey one with blackout inner lining. It fit perfectly. I had to get one that is taller than the window to get the correct width so I thought it might be a little bunched up at the bottom but it looks better than I thought! If you get the blackout option it basically makes day look like night. It’s easy to lift the blinds and the clear handle looks better in-person. The blinds might retract up a little at first but it starts staying in place after a full pulls. The quality seems nice but I haven’t had it long and can’t speak to the durability.

These Blinds Are Great!

I was really nervous about buying blinds online and hoping I had measured the right way for installing them with ease. I couldn’t be happier! These came nicely packaged, and I installed each blind in like 3 minutes. I installed the blinds on the inside of the wooden window frame. From left to right my frame was 48” and I bought the 48” gray/white blinds. They really do black out the room and keep it cooler. There is still be a minute amount of light, but is not bothersome.The ONLY thing I’ve noticed I might change or add is a way to keep the bottom of the blinds straight and even resting on the bottom window frame.

Didn’t last

I was very excited for these! They seemed to be good quality, we’re fairly simple to instal, and they looked great! We have had them up in my sons room for about 3 months. Soon after installed, the blinds wouldn’t come down evenly. One side was always higher than the other. We tried to fix it, but never seemed to stay. Then they locked up almost. Would pull down but go right back up again. I included a picture after we took them down to show what I mean about them being uneven.
