The rug itself is beautiful. However the way it is packaged is horrible. It's folded up and put in plastic inside a box. Not rolled up like rugs usually are. Having a really hard time getting all the wrinkles and folds out.
The colors on the rug go perfectly with our room decor. I have purchased washable rugs previously, but smaller sizes, and they lay nicely on the floor. This 8x10 has large “bubbles” in the center of the rug which doesn’t allow it to lay flat. I had hoped the rug would relax, but it’s been a week and no change. Also like most washable rugs, it’s difficult to sweeper with a regular sweeper. My robot sweeper, however, has no problem sweeping it.
The color selection for this rug suggested that it is pink. Going by the photos and not the words, we thought that the pink version of the rug would fit the room the best, and we were right!This pink color is far more neutral, at least in our indoor lighting. It is covering some dark carpet, and the lighter rug really makes our living room look much larger. The size of this rug is perfect for covering the floor in our sitting area of the living room. This is great because it helps divide the office area of the living room from the entertainment.It is really easy to clean. I typically use either my carpet cleaning broom or our vacuum. It is a great thickness. It isn't so thick that you trip along the edges, but it definitely covers the dark carpet beneath without a hint of color peeking through. It lays nice and flat, and any creases from being folded smoothed out pretty quickly.I would absolutely get this again, and I certainly would trust this brand name when looking for rugs in the future. It's a great quality and beautiful area rug.
This area rug exceeded my expectations. The colors and patterns are very subtle and will coordinate with any decor. This is a lovely piece that will brighten up your room. It arrived folded in a box, and I was concerned that the creases would be visible, but they fell out nicely. I recommend taking it out of the box as soon as you get it and either laying it flat or hanging it over a large railing to get the folds out.
covers a wide area. design is even. material is soft and rather thin, but not too bad. its doesnt throw off the rest of the house desgin as its taupe. no funky weird smells. it stays stationary, no real major slipping. easily movable
This rug is VERY soft! Feels great on your feet. Comes folded up and takes awhile for the wrinkles to flatten out. The colors are muted. I got the navy and cream colored. It has navy leaves, a cream background and off white vines. Goes well with navy accessories. The back is a rubberized back to help hold it in place. The edges are nicely bound. It's not real thick. But it does appear to be well made. Says it's washable. I haven't tried washing it.
