Smells like Alcohol - With a Hint of Lavendar!

Based on the price alone - this maybe merits 2 or 3 stars. The item is for a refill kit but the fragrance part - the most expensive part of the item is lacking. Upon opening. there was a strong alcohol smell tinged with a slight lavender smell. I put the reeds right in the jar to see if I maybe the alcohol would dissipate and only leave the lavender. But it still has undertones. The lavender is super mild. At that price point, I expected WAY MORE! Maybe the other fragrances are better. Maybe I received a botched one but this is a big fail for me!

I have been using an outlet plug-in diffuser that requires electricity to operate. In my effort to be more eco-friendly, I discovered the Cocorrina Reed Diffuser Oil from the COCORRINA Store and ordered it immediately. The product comes with a bottle of oil and eight rattan reeds. Does not smell good, maybe mine is faulty?

I opened this bottling expecting a scent with some resemblance to lavender and/or thyme. What greeted me is something smelling very similar to nail polish remover. Thinking it was me, I held it up to my husband's nose; he recoiled, saying, "I don't like that at all. What is it, ammonia?" So I knew it wasn't just me.Unlike other reed diffuser products I've used, the list of ingredients (shown in photos) is something I do not understand, nor would I expect the average consumer to. I don't see any Thymol (oil from thyme) listed, but I do see Lavendin fairly far down on the list. The rest of them are alphabet soup to me.I'm giving 2* because of the size (large) and the price point, with the assumption that my particular product is a dud.
