I’m really impressed that this product had no smell. I was fully expecting a chemical smell being that it’s a vinyl material, but there wasn’t one. It laid flat immediately, did not take time to settle out the kinks. I’m using it on top of carpet for underneath a puppy playpen and it’s working perfectly. Doesn’t stain and handles cleaning products well.
This mat is pretty large and made of thick, durable material. It feels sturdy underfoot and covers a good area, making it perfect for high-traffic spaces. I’m really happy with the quality and size — it’s exactly what I needed.
Granted, I have let it sit out to self flatten for a couple weeks, it has naturally settled itself without having to apply heat or place anything on it to straighten it out. It doesn't lay perfectly flat but it's good enough for my needs. I do like the slightly tinted appearance since it can hide blemishes better than completely clear mats. It's softer than I had thought it was going to be but that's ok since it seems to be less likely to scratch.
This product is fabulous and works as intended to provide a surface area that will be easy to clean and help padding wise on a hard floor. Has perfect gripping/traction surface.ONLY caveat is that it gets scuffed easily with anything that is rubber like (rubber slippers - plastic wheels of a vacuum cleaner etc...) - which is tedious to clean! Also you must clean up stains right away or the stubborn ones like cranberry or other strong pigments will not come off!!!
This is the perfect solution to extending the life of the floors in our new camper. The main traffic area can get lots of wear and tear but this should keep it looking like new.We got clear so you don’t really see it unless you’re looking for it.
Attracts pet hair and dirt like a magnet. Hard to clean. Stays rolled and creased.
I used it in my salon to keep my floors nice! Works great. Could used better gripping on bottom and maybe less static clean
