Great…but make sure you get em to stick!

It took me a couple of tries before I had all four of these holding strongly in place. I am not sure why a couple of them held on tight from the get-go and the other couple didn’t but give them all some time to adhere to your wall. Once in place, this is the easiest way to hang and change out curtains/draperies/poles ever! It takes about 2 seconds. No messing with power drills and screws, just look and adjust. These are great quality and highly durable but because of that they do not come off walls easily. While they don’t leave obnoxious holes like screws do and give you way more flexibility in where to hang them, just be aware that when you do remove them, you might want some touch up paint available. They looked great because they are practically invisible and held a light weight rod with medium weight curtain fantastically.

Careful what you mount these to…use screws

Ordered these to try out due to our spring-loaded outdoor curtain rod no longer holding up our curtains on the front porch. These curtains are needed to block the intense west Texas sun on the porch. In order to secure the curtain rod better against wind gusts, I doubled the brackets at each location. These are stuck to painted Hardi board trim. Wiped down the trim with rubbing alcohol first to clean the area. Followed the instructions to allow them to sit for 24hrs to “cure” before adding weight. The next day, added the top rods with the bottom stabilizer rods and so far, they are doing great. Been a week with some unseasonably rough weather with gusts to test them and they’ve held up well. For outdoor use, definitely double or even triple the amount used ar each location to ensure strength. Even though they’re plastic, if they’re away from the elements, they should last. Impressed so far but will update if there are issues. As a side note, looking through the reviews, DEFINITELY do not use these on sheetrock. The adhesive is super strong but sheetrock is not a surface with uniform strength to hold up a rod without screws. I do not recommend these unless you have a strong surface such as wood, metal, or the like to attach to.

Super easy install

These are a great! I struggle hanging the normal curtain rod brackets, so these are a great alternative. My last apartment it hung just fine for over a year. I got them again for my new apartment. The only downfall is the adhesive is so strong it will take off some of your drywall when you decide to remove it. I use the adhesive then drill in a screw for extra strength.

Not sure if it’s worth it

I’m a little indecisive about these hooks. I bought these because my bed is against my window and I stepped on my curtains which then caused the screws and anchors to come out of the drywall. I was left with really large holes in the drywall and I knew I couldn’t fix it without making more holes. These hooks were my way to try to avoid making new holes. I installed 3 of the hooks this morning waited for about 5 hours before putting up my curtains. By nightfall, the curtain rod was down on the right and middle. The right side just appeared to have slid off the drywall. The middle hook took off the paint and some of the drywall with it. I tried sticking the hooks back on and it looks like it stayed. You can see where the paint was pulled off the wall behind the middle hook. Overall I am not sure if these were worth it or if maybe I should’ve patched the holes and made new ones to avoid this new issue.Update: these hooks did not work for my wall. The hooks fell off by the next day. I was really sad but I ended up having to come up with a new way to put up my curtain rods.

not bad, will buy again

i’m glad it came with 4 because one of them doesn’t stick, kept falling off and making the whole curtain come with it. The current ones are doing a good job, even holding strong when I open and close my curtains.

I want to love these but I'm on the fence

First off they are great and design. I am terrible at hanging curtain rods and brackets it's just something I'm bad at. So I was really hoping these were going to be perfect for me. They are great quality they feel heavy the rod clips in nice. I used three on each window I had two windows. And half of them ripped off the wall within a couple weeks. I don't know what I did wrong I don't know if maybe I was supposed to clean the wall prepare it better I have no idea. So I would do just that. Make sure you clean the wall first let it dry. Also go slow and make sure that you are 100% where you want to put this. It is extremely sticky and once you stick it it's stuck. I guess that's why I was confused when half of these came off the wall. They do rip off your wall though when they come off. So I'm a little nervous about that. I guess that's why I'm giving this three stars as well. So I actually had to buy another set just to replace the ones that came off the wall. But I contacted Amazon and they help me out and I actually got some money back on it. So in theory it's a great product. Just go slow and make sure you don't rush putting these up. Also don't rush putting the bar up after you put these brackets on the wall.
