Good quality, clear, heavy, expensive!
Most unfortunate that an 8x8 block only has a 6x6 display area. I should have ordered the 10x10. HEAVY and feels very substantial. The cut is very good, and it's pretty much perfectly flat, without visible signs of warping or distortions when looking through the block. Clearly of very good quality, but I did find one dent on an edge... Not enough that would be noticeable, so I'll ignore it.The edging is actually nice and smooth, and not at all sharp. You won't cut yourself handling this, unless you drop one of the pointy corners on your foot (which is a distinct possibility).You can easily purchase a wooden pedestal for less than 1/3 the cost, but this does give a very sticking look without drawing attention to the stand area. I also suspect that lining LED light strips around the block will have a very impressive effect. They will be a future project to update on.

Hefty and perfectly shaped
I got this acrylic base to make a 13 year anniversary gift for my wife. The piece is perfectly shaped, weighs quite a lot and arrived well packaged and without a scratch. It's actually a bit more massive than I had envisioned but that's not a problem. The acrylic is totally clear and the photo I'm mounting underneath is visible without looking warped at all. On top I'm mounting a large coin that has sentimental value for us.

This is a good size display block. It is well made and polished. Super clear without any imperfections that I could see. It is solid and can support about any weight up to over 30 pounds with no problem. The cuts are straight and blend into the shape nicely. I needed to drill into mine for some post to support my art piece and it worked great without any issue. It is a solid base with some weight to it and wont tip over very easy which is great. You will need to add some bump-ons to it so it wont slide or scratch the surface it is sitting on. Perfect clear display block that is able to be finished to your needs.
