I missed the days of window candles at Christmas so I finally got proactive and ordered these before Christmas and promptly put them in the windows. The only problem is they kept shutting off! It took me a few minutes (or days) to figure out that these candles are light sensing and turn on and off on their own depending on the amount of light in the room. The upside is you don't have to unplug them every day. The downside is if you aren't aware that they turn on and off you'll make yourself crazy trying to figure out why they keep shutting off! Now I know...

Unsafe!

I must have gotten a bad set. I placed two on my windows and both ended up with burnt holes in the plastic. Very glad we were not away, they could have caused the curtains to catch fire. I’d recommend buying another brand.
