I have not bought shades in a long time. They have come a long way. These are great! Pulls down easily. To raise up, just start them and the shade goes slowly up by themselves. Heavy duty. Very happy with this purchase. The shade looks great. Great value for the money. Easy to install, fits well. and will buy again.
TLDR:Measure your window and then measure again to double check. This was easier to install than I expected. The shade is definitely blackout and looks beautiful with curtains. The shade seems well made and is easy to operate. Hardware is good. Directions are easy to follow. I’m a petite woman and did it on my own.What I liked:I needed to replace some old blinds that warped from the intense desert heat. This turned out to be the perfect choice. I got the 72” x 72”. They are better than I expected. Very nice, I can already tell this is helping my office to stay cooler and darker in the summer heat. And I have also swapped this shade in for other windows in my home.What could be better:Since I got the 72” size, I thought they would include 3 brackets but it only came with 2. So far so good, so maybe it doesn’t need 3.Fit/size:I ordered size 72” x 72” and it fits as expected.Durability/maintenance:Seems well made and will be a lot easier to keep clean than blinds.Would I recommend:Yes! This is best for anyone wanting a blackout shade that is easy to install and operate. The quality is exceptional! I just installed three of these in my workshop. One box was open when I received the shipment and the mounting brackets were missing. The company immediately mailed me another packet of brackets. It is hard to believe that something of such great quality is so low-priced!
Really like this shade but the shade can be a little finicky when trying to get it to go back up. (That’s the only reason one star was deducted.) Otherwise, easy to install, looks nice, and good quality.

Buy these.I thought these were pricey compared to the crappy, basic ones at WallyWorld, but these Blackout Roller Window Shades were an exceptionally good purchase. I use two of these everyday in my workshop windows where I can simply tap them downward to get them to slow-roll up. OMG that's handy.I need to stress how easy and efficient these roll up.I also have two of the crappy Walmart ones (which I absolutely HATE). Do not buy the Walmart ones that you have to unroll each time you want to yank them to get them to roll up.
