I love everything about these blinds. Easy set up. Easy to use. And look great. I knocked off one star because I bought two 30inch shades for a 60 inch window but after installing them, there was about 1.5-2 inch gap between the shades. So they seem to be a little shorter. I still use curtains so the light doesn’t filter into the room, but this is still annoying since I bought them to fit perfectly in the window.

Helps a bit but not easy to install

We installed this shade in my son's room, and it does block light. Just be aware with these standard shades that you install inside the frame you are still going to get a lot of light around all the edges particularly in the a.m. with an east facing window. My husband had a bit of a time installing it -- and it turns out the colored side does not face inward like you would expect. He found that it would only fit the brackets if he turned it the other way.
