Pricey but worth it

Yes, these shades are expensive compared to some other options on Amazon - The caveat is that they work super well, hold their position, are easy to install, and keep out light better than a lot of the alternatives. My wife and I tried multiple options from Amazon, Ikea, Walmart, etc, to block out light from our newborn's room, and this solution was the easiest to use and blocked out the most light. There were others that probably blocked out a similar amount of light, but weren't as easy to use and as sturdy.

I am so pleased with these!

I needed two shades to arrive quickly to cover windows for a family member's room at an assisted living facility. Why did I wait so long to buy?

Super easy to install on back french door. Blocks strong sun, easily fit around the levered door handle, easy to install. For years, I resisted getting a shade on that door thinking it would be ugly or challenging to use. The back of the house faces west - the sun blasts in every afternoon - this has already saved us money & added to our comfort.
