Here is The Standard Review for the Changshade Blackout Blinds, Cordless Cellular Shades, 1 Inch Blackout Shades. These shades are great for bedrooms, bathrooms, offices or any room where you want to create dark conditions for sleeping, napping or work. They are easy to install and block out the majority of outside light. The shades slide up and down quite easily without much effort. We have had these shades for two years and they have held up well for daily use.

I have a 15 pane aluminum exterior living room door that I've tried three different solutions to cover up. I've done the magnetic curtain rods and various types of curtains the supposedly pull up and down easily and they were all an irritating pain.I also like zero light pollution when I sleep.This shade is perfect. Five stars across the board. Blocks light completely. Raises up and down smoothe and easy with NO hassle. Plus the adhesive is stronger than any other bracket in my apartment. I raise this up and down multiple times a day with no issues at all.. READ THIS- NO DRILL SOLUTION!!

I moved into an apartment and desperately needed shades to block out the light and heat that was turning my room into an oven. I got the 52 inch one for my 46x46 windows and they were quite heavy, I was doubtful the 3M tape would work but was still hopeful to get some relief from the heat and bright sunlight in the mornings. It stayed on for about 24 hours. I thought maybe the adhesive on the tape was too weak and tried other tapes which also fell. I then realized it was falling because I'm not giving the adhesive enough time to bond and set on the surfaces (I have textured drywall). But since we're working with double sided tape, you don't really have a choice but to put weight on the tape right away.I have found a solution! Heavy duty velcro. I applied a strip on the wall and on the shades and left it alone for 24 hours. Then I stuck it together the next day and it's been several weeks and I haven't had any issues with it peeling off and I use the shades every day. It blocks maybe 95% of light (some still leaks from the sides) and it has made my room feel much cozier and cooler. A bit expensive and frustrating with the whole trial and error period but it was worth the comfort it brings.

High-quality, professional looking blinds on a budget!

I have been looking for months for the perfect shade/blinds for my back door. Being a young homeowner, I also wanted something that looked nice but cost less. My door cannot be drilled into and includes a lip on the window, so it was tricky finding the right blinds! I didn’t like the idea of buying “paper” blinds, but decided to give these a try anyway. I’m so glad I did! They feel and look very high quality and sit great over the lip of the window. The adhesive seems very good and hasn’t budged yet! They slide easily up and down and will automatically stop at the spot you need it to. I love them!

Looks great but poorly made

It looks great but the mechanism went bad after about 2 weeks. The blind no longer stays up / stays open. Also had problems with the double sided tape (used for installation) keeping the blind in place. Basically, the temperature in the room would change and the blind would fall off the window.
