It’s simple and clean and functional. I like the design of the hanging incense stick holders more, but the stick burns faster when it’s burning downward, as the flame is still burning up toward the remaining stick. This burner is functional and the ashes don’t fall everywhere! I’ve only had this for a week now, but so far I’m very happy!

i have been looking for something like --literally --for decades: a foolproof incense burner that is actually worry-free, because nothin is open in anywhere,or in any way, that has even a minute fire hazard risk. AND, that has genuinely easy cleaning (and the only genuinely easy cleaning i know of, is called a 'dishwasher" machine. AND that includes no risk at all of ash ending up in even one millimeter of unwanted space.finally i just gave up, and stopped looking. it seemed to me that it couldn't be all that hard to come up with a design, and then manufacture an incense burner that would meet all these (to me, common sense) criteria. buy apparently the fine folks at ibrs (Incense Burners R Us) just weren't up to it.and then i found this one, on vine. and 0MG!, did i ever jump on it.so i finally have a FIRE-SAFE and NON-ASH-ESCAPING incense burner!!!my only issue is the 21$ otd price. the ceramic base is not especially high end ceramic. and the glass housing isn't particularly high quality glass, and the metal alloy insert is low grade metal. collectively, that doesn't justify this kind of pricing.HOWEVER, BECAUSE THE DESIGN AND SAFETY FEATURES ARE exactly WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR FOR YEARS, AND BECAUSE IT CAN GO IN THE DISHWASHER, I WOULD THAT PRICE INSTANTLY, OR EVEN MUCH MORE.i just wish there was an exact duplicate, but higher end/higher quality version, available.note to self: you've got a lotta nerve, complaining about cost and about you'd prefer a more 'designer version'!what about just being grateful that you have any version at all, of an item you searched for, literally for decades, and now have?? how about that, huh, fella??summary: the design, functionality, and easy care, make this product a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5-star item. {or, you could search for a more elegant looking duplicate version, for the next twenty years.}
To give some context: As someone relatively new to using incense, I can say this holder has made learning to use incense a convenient and easy thing. I also want to highlight some of the thoughtful design features that stand out to me.The semi-enclosed design (open at the top), with the glass wall about as tall as most incense sticks, offers several advantages over more open holder designs:1. Safety: The enclosure helps prevent accidental contact with the burning incense—a significant benefit for households with children or pets.2. Longer Burn Time: In my experience, the design seems to prolong the burn time of each stick by moderating airflow, which is especially noticeable when using it outdoors. Burn time is noticably longer with this holder3. Wind Resistance: It allows for easier outdoor use, as the glass helps protect the ember from being extinguished by a breeze on a windy day.Also I like that all the ash neatly collects at the bottom and can easily be emptied out laterNow here are a couple thing things to keep in mind (now that I think of it):· The holder is made of ceramic and glass, so it could shatter if dropped or knocked down by a child or even a cat.· As with any incense, always ensure good ventilation when using it indoors and please mind that pets should probably be kept at least in a separate room when using incense. When I use this holder to burn incense, I make sure to keep my cat out of the room I am using it in.Overall, this is a well-designed, functional holder that has me hooked on using incense now.
This incense holder is both really functional and aesthetically pleasing, and it definitely adds an elegant touch placed anywhere in your home. I also like that it doesn’t take up much counter space. The slim design makes it easy to place on a shelf, windowsill, or small surface without feeling bulky. Everything arrived well packaged, and setup was very straightforward.Inside the center of the ceramic base, there’s a magnetic piece that allows the incense holder to attach and detach easily. This makes cleaning much more convenient—rather than trying to clean around the holder, I can simply remove it and easily clean out any ashes inside the ceramic base. It does come with a small brush, but I personally find it easier to wipe everything clean with a paper towel or microfiber cloth.The ceramic base feels solid, has a nice weight to it, and feels stable. The glass ash catcher fits securely on top without wobbling. One thing I really appreciate is that I can move the incense holder without worrying about ash falling everywhere, which makes it feel much cleaner and easier to use.The included incense sticks are a nice bonus. I would describe the scent as a very light, subtle wooden fragrance. Overall, this feels like a thoughtfully crafted piece that works well as both home décor and an incense holder. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys incense or is looking for a nice gift.
