I wasn't sure how well these would work, but they are great. I have been using them for about a year and have not lost any flowers, despite some pretty strong storms with high winds. I did have to shave off the edges a little to fit the insert into the vase, but that was easy to do and ensured a tight fit.
This thing works great. It replaces the need for floral foam. Less Mess.

I needed something that would hold the flowers in the vase on my brother's headstone. The size was accurate, but the description was not even close. It says "Rubber" and so I thought it would be flexible enough to fit snuggly down into the vase, thereby holding tightly in the strong winds of the open cemetery. It's hard as a rock with no give whatsoever. The flowers and the NOT "Rubber" holder blow out across the cemetery instead of holding tight in the vase. Very expensive too. Not worth a plug nickel.
It works! No more flowers flying away even after rough storms!!!!
