Blinds do block the light and do retract well. Suggest in ordering, get a longer length than the window size. Extending the blinds to their full length may not be desirable as will want to retract a couple inches.I do recommend as they are an inexpensive compared to big box store blinds.Installation was straightforward and supplied brackets allow installation within window frame or above window. Supplied screws are M6x1” and I had some longer screws I utilized as my scenario had wood trim to screw into.Have had blinds installed for 2 days and no issues.

The first real blackout shade that didn’t disappoint

I needed pitch-black nap time conditions for our 3-month-old’s nursery, and these SBARTAR cordless honeycomb blinds nailed it. Install took maybe 15 minutes with a drill—just measure, pop the brackets in, and the headrail clicks into place. The first thing I noticed after lowering them was the silence; the honeycomb cells muffle street noise better than our old vinyl slats, and—in the 90 °F afternoon heat—the room stayed a few degrees cooler without the A/C working overtime. Operation is buttery-smooth: a gentle tug and they glide up, stop exactly where I let go, then stack neatly at the top. No dangling cords means nothing for curious little hands (or the dog) to pull—huge peace of mind. Minor nitpick: the plastic end caps on the bottom rail feel a bit cheap; I had to tap one back in after bumping it with the vacuum. But that’s a five-second fix and honestly the only flaw I’ve found.After three weeks of use the verdict is clear: better sleep for the baby, lower afternoon power bills, and a cleaner look than anything I’ve tried under $70. I’m ordering two more for the office and primary bedroom next payday. If you need real blackout plus cordless safety, these are worth every penny.

Original Issue with Blinds - But Quick Resolve!

We purchased four blinds and two already have failed. The internal wires no longer retract all the way leaving the blinds hanging partway down. When they do work they look nice and are great at blocking out the light, but hard to recommend due to the longevity of the pully mechanism. Unfortunately, I am outside my refund window and cannot find any warranty information on these blinds.UPDATE: Very satisfied as Customer Service reached out quickly and was able to offer a replacement! Great customer service and would recommend!

Don’t buy

This is not a good product. I do not recommend it. I purchased 2 of this shades. I knew they weren’t the best but I needed something until I got the right curtains in. I did not choose the cheapest product because I wanted something with a little more quality. I bought these then, what a mistake. See below why I am leaving a negative review:* I realized all these after I installed them- one does not stay down pass 24”. It keeps lifting no matter what I do- the next day when I went to retract them, they don’t retract when at 12” down from the top. You have to force them up with both of your hands and make sure they go up straight. Then it holds on top- the same day in the afternoon, I found that they have dropped about 10” downSo now, they do not stay down enough to cover the entire window, they don’t retract well, and they don’t stay up after retracted.There is one positive, the shades provide a good black out.Well, Amazon was nice enough to credit back one of them. So I kept both of them. As I said earlier, they are my temporary solution until I got the right ones and I didn’t want to go through the trouble of removing them and doing a new search.

Great blinds, was very easy to install. Took out one start of the easy to use since the blind tend to pull up just a bit towards the end. I will point that I use almost the full length of it so I assume that is the reason. It doesn't happen when I pull it less then the maximum length.Blinds provide total light block which is what I wanted

Going to do the rest of my windows now!

Originally bought one of these to put in my rambunctious toddlers room. I didn’t want anything with cords. I was a bit nervous when I bought it because I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I love it! So easy to install. And it filters out so much light, noise, and heat. We are in Texas and the afternoon sun normally blasts into my son’s room, but this keeps it out and keeps the room much cooler. We loved it so much, we bought another one for my other children’s room, and I’m buying two more for my room as well. One thing I would say is to get it a little longer than the window. I got it the exact dimension and it doesn’t sit on the window sill, it slightly hovers over, letting in a little extra light. But that was my own fault. I would definitely recommend this!
