I’m testing out a variety of moderately priced candles to buy in bulk for the upcoming holiday season (yes, nine months in advance—lol), and this was one of them. I chose this one due to the ‘big hug’ message in front.I usually use a candle warmer rather than burning it, but I tested this one by lighting it to see how well and cleanly it burns since that’s how most people use candles.Well, it lasted for a couple of days but didn’t burn cleanly, as you can see in my photos.For me, this isn’t an issue since I use a warmer, but if you prefer to burn your candles, this one isn’t the best in terms of clean burning. The scent was okay—moderate in strength—not strong enough to fill the whole living room.I think it’s still decent but probably not the best deal in terms of quality versus price for this size.

I love Cedar Crate Market candles — they make a thoughtful sympathy gift and are beautifully packaged. While I wasn’t a fan of this particular scent, the quality of the candle itself is great. I would definitely purchase again in a different fragrance.

My beloved friend went crazy for this candle when I gave it to her. She absolutely loved the smell. I like it too, it's not overpowering and is refreshing. about $20 for this candle I think is acceptable but no bargain.
