I absolutely love this cat print doormat rug. As much as I adore cats, I usually stay away from home decor with a cat theme as the items are sometimes tacky. That isn't the case with this throw carpet, it isn't tacky looking at all. the design is beautiful and the cats blend in. Up close you can clearly see the cat design, but a few steps back and the design just looks like a tapestry style design. The artwork is very pleasing to the eye.There are two things that I appreciate about this rug. The first is the fact that the rug is machine washable. Everyone who walks in this house knows to take their shoes off at the door, but dirt still makes it way in on our front door mat. It is nice to know that I can easily shake the rug outside and then throw it into our washing machine. It isn't heavy so it won't damage my washing machine. The second thing that I love is that this is a rug with a rubber backing. I have purchased so many door mats that slip and slide and no matter what I buy to put under the rug to keep this from happening - it still happens.The pricing is reasonable for this type of mat - you get your money worth in value. The sides of the rug do not curl up. There is no "pile" to it, so vacuuming and/or sweeping the rug has been so easy! I am so glad I ordered this rug to replace the rug I already had in place.The most important thing about this rug is that there is absolutely no odor. I strongly dislike it when I fall in love with carpeting or a rug in the store, get it in the car and then get hit with that unbearable smell that never goes away. I have had to turn my car around and return rugs to the store without ever getting them home. I am very sensitive so odors, fumes, etc. I am happy to report that this rug has absolutely no odor.5 out of 5 stars. I love this rug, and more importantly, the cats love it too. As soon as I put it down, my cat Morning promptly claimed it and sat right on it. It’s been in our doorway for a little while now and has already been put to the test. Leo has already thrown up a hairball on it. Since it is machine washable, I was able to just toss it in the wash without too much stress, which is great in a house with multiple pets (including 6 cats).The rug seems very durable and well made. It is a low pile rug, so you shouldn't expect something thick or fluffy, it is pretty flat. However, I personally think the thickness is just right. It makes it much easier to fit in the washing machine, and it’s perfect for our doorway where a thicker rug would constantly be snagging on the door. The only minor complaint I have is that the edges seem to get flipped up alot with our kitten racing through the house, but I can't really fault the rug for that.The cat and botanical pattern is really cute and fits a whimsical, pet friendly aesthetic perfectly. For the current price, this feels like a great value for a rug that can actually handle the realities of living with cats (and kids) while still looking nice in the entryway.

Whimsical entry rug that works with my decor

I have another small rug by my front door that I really like, but when I saw the cats on this one and how pretty the whole design is, I had to get it too. The colors and the little botanical details make it feel warm and cheerful, and it has that soft look that works really well in an entryway.Now I can swap them out so they wear better over time, and I can wash one while the other is being used. Cute but thin

Considering the price, I really like this little cat rug! I have it at the top of a flight of stairs, and I was a little worried it might slide around, but the non-slip backing works really well. The print on it is adorable and looks clean and crisp, which is always a plus. It adds a fun, whimsical touch without feeling too over-the-top.That said, the material isn’t the highest quality.
