I'm actually pleased with the rug's quality, but the creasing issue is a real problem. I don't know why they are shipped folded instead of rolled, but the creases are terrible and make it so the rug cannot lay flat! Please listen to these reviews and roll the rugs for delivery!!

Listen, if you’re in the market for an actual jute rug, go ahead and buy one of those—because this is a regular, washable rug. In very low light, with your eyes half-closed, after a long day… it might pass for jute. Probably not. But spiritually? It’s trying.That said, it’s a nice little rug for the price. The folds should chill out over time, the color is exactly what I wanted for the space, and the size fit like it read my mind. I wouldn’t confidently call it “jute-like,” but in a dim room, Mr. Magoo himself would never know the difference.Bonus points: it arrived quickly, was well-packaged, has zero weird smells, and the pile is pleasantly soft. Could it be slippery in the wrong setting? Sure. Is that an issue for me? Nope. Overall: not jute, not pretending too hard to be jute, but doing its job and doing it politely.

Folded rug and lines are forever.

By the time I realized the folding lines were NEVER going to come out, I also knew I could not handle the chore of returning this mess of a rug. I am 74, and weigh 110 lbs so maneuvering this weight and folding this albatross is next to impossible. I will not order another rug from Amazon. I tried everything to get the folding lines to lay flat but to no avail. The rug is ugly . I strongly suggest that you purchase another and one that is rolled and NOT FOLDED.
