This is such a well made piece that it will set off any room where you have it. It is very eye catching. I bought mine primarily for incense burning but as the insert will take several other type of scent/light items, I will be sure to try them all out. It comes really well protected as well. I am very happy with my purchase and I believe you will not be disappointed either.
Nicely carved soapstone, looks great, has burned stick and cone incense without issue. Some people have stated that the burners they received were different in color than the one pictured, but that should be expected since there’s variation in color in just about any light colored natural stone product. The one I got is sort of a oatmeal or bone white color. It’s nice and not a bad price at all for what it is.
The piece itself is excellent! The little cube inside, the piece that holds the incense or candle. The holes are drilled out haphazardly. Which means only one out of five holes is usable! For such an exquisite work of art, a real show piece, to put such a crappy heart into it is unacceptable! The cube is supposed to be what makes this lovely piece functional. If you want to look and not use then this is the one for you. However if you actually want to burn incense in your incense burner keep looking.
This is beautiful. The smoke coming out looks captivating. Great purchase. I broke my first one and ordered a second.
Stylish
I’ve had this incense burner for less than a day. I was excited to receive it and quickly set it up. So far it does the job and doesn’t snuff out the incense that I put in it. Unfortunately, the color is not at all as pictured. My burner is grey, not the cream color shown in the manufacturer’s photos. What’s more, the top of the burner, both inside and out, has started to discolor in reaction no doubt to the incense smoke. I’ve lit incense twice within the past 24 hours so that was all it took. I don’t know if the discoloration can be cleaned as I haven’t yet attempted, but so far I’m less than impressed. Also, as others have pointed out, this burner is messy as it’s not designed to capture the ashes in a neat way. Not a dealbreaker for me, as I think the burner is beautiful and so far it at least prevents the ashes from falling directly onto whatever surface the burner is sitting on (thereby reducing the risk of fire). But just be prepared to clean it frequently and directly over a trash can.
I'm very happy with my incense stand. It's made very nicely. The size is perfect, in my opinion. The ash retention is fine. I usually clean it out after every use. I also like how you can rotate the center cube to use different types of incense.
