Very Decorative Incense Burner

I'm very pleased with my incense burner. The craftsmanship is wonderful, making it a very decorative as well as functional piece. I like that the burning incense and ash are contained within the tower. The smoke looks very evocative curling through the carved stone. I've gotten quite a few compliments and questions about it. I'm actually going to order another one in a different design for another area of my home. The only small complaint I have is that the holes for stick incense are a bit too small. I've had to make adjustments to a few incense sticks so that they fit in the holes.

not without some flaws

This is a beautiful piece! Some reviewers complained about the color, but natural stone will have some variance. The one I received has quite a bit of gray streaking throughout, but is absolutely beautiful. It works great for burning cone and stick incense and reflects gorgeous patterns when a tealight is lit from within. Up close you can see whitish lines where there are seams. It is clear that this was not carved out of a large solid piece, but rather, constructed from many smaller panels which were put together. The seams are not obvious from a distance, but are within a few feet away. It's still a great piece and I have no regrets.
