Like no other!!

I have had many of a candle in my lifetime. So, I didn't have much faith that this would be any better than any other candle on the market. BOY I WAS WRONG! The moment I opened the box the first thing I noticed was the beautiful red glass with gold lid to resemble a Christmas ornament. The best thing was the scent. It was something that reminded me of my time in Italy with the beautiful flowers & scenery mixed with the gorgeous sandy beaches. You don't even have to light it to enjoy the scent. It does perfectly fine just on my kitchen counter, I ended up buying more so I could burn them to see if it was even stronger. It was! No need to worry about buying a ton they burn so slowly it almost seems like magic. After 2 hours or so I barely noticed a dent in the wax. The total length of time the candle would be at least 75 to 100 hours. I can't say enough nice things about this company. Great product!

Overpriced candle that doesn’t at all smell volcano

This candle arrived well packaged, and it’s beautiful right out of the box. The gold lid has a decorative heart shaped lock on it with a punched out keyhole but it doesn’t screw on it just sort of sits the on top of the candle. The red jar is frosted and a very nice shape perfect for Valentine’s Day. The scent of this candle is called “volcano“ but the actual scent does not remind me of a volcano, but rather a sweet citrusy, maybe mandarin orange scent if you compared it to other scented candles. The scent throw isn’t very good and I can’t testify for the longevity of it because I just started using the candle but I will update with an estimated timeframe from start to finish when it’s finally burnt out, which could possibly take a while. Ask for the value of this $39 is quite pricey even for a decorative candle, especially a candle I would describe as medium size (if we’re referencing a brands size think maybe a medium Yankee candle or Woodwick) with one wick medium sized and a not so good scent throw I would be upset if I paid that much! but this would make a nice gift for Valentine’s Day. (If you’re willing to pay the price)but the name of the candle scent and the ACTUAL scent don’t match so if you’re hoping for a mystery hot spicy volcano scent this is not throwing volcano vibes for me (think more cranberry chutney mixed with mandarin orange better home&gardens mainstays Walmart type of scented candle)more for decorative purposes than scented anything. All in all this candle makes a thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift, and has a lovely look to it in a nice jar with a golden lid but it’s not the greatest scented candle and it’s way overpriced.

Big bold tropical scent!

I think the most impressive thing about this candle for me so far is that I can smell it in my little conservatory here even without it being lit and WITH the cap on it. The cap has a decorative keyhole, but I’ve found that since I have the candle sitting on top of an electric fireplace, it’s being gently warmed and the scent is so potent that it’s able to escape from that tiny keyhole and lightly fragrance this little 10x10 foot space!While the candle is expensive, it’s a soy candle, so I find the price to be pretty on par with other luxury quality soy candles. The presentation is also truly lovely. The jar is a matte frosted merlot color, quite striking. The cap is gold-toned metal and looks expensive.As for the scent, I understand this to be the brand’s signature. I can see why. It’s a lovely sweet tropical, leaning into the citrus, I think. It smells fresh and invigorating. It’s not overly sweet, but just enough so to evoke a tropical fruitiness.

This candle absolutely lives up to the hype and then some especially for a Valentine’s Day gift.First the scent is incredible. As soon as I opened the box I could smell it all the way across the room. I had not even lit the candle yet and the fragrance was already filling the space.
