beautiful and well-made but does not work well with three wick candles
This is gorgeous and well-made, but is better for smaller candles. While it technically can fit a three-wick, the base is too small for proper support of a three-wick and the bulb focuses the heat down to a smaller point in the center which will cause three-wicks to melt unevenly. I tried this with a few different candles and each time when they cooled off, the wicks were in crazy positions because of the uneven heating. The bulb has lasted for a few weeks now without any issue; if it goes out prematurely I will update my review. The timer works well, and the adjustable brightness is good. The current listed price is about standard for a candle warmer. This would be a good gift as long as the person it's gifted to doesn't intend to use it with wide three-wicks. For taller yankee-style candles or small single wick jars, this is perfect.
