    This tiger tapestry creates a fun and beautiful detailed landscape image that glows under black light but isn’t anything that will blow your mind as it’s not as reactive as other black light images I’ve seen.The tapestry is extremely thin and has stitched edges. The image is well made with a lot of detail and colors. There’s plenty to look at and the tiger looks great. Even under normal lighting, it’s very vibrant and colorful, but you get this specifically for the visual under black lights.I viewed this tapestry under various black lights: a 34-watt and 80-watt LED blacklight along with four traditional 15-watt fluorescent tube black lights. I found that the traditional fluorescent tube black lights produced a better visual, however the LED black lights worked just fine too.I was hoping to be “wowed” like when you look at blacklight images you see on posters in smoke shops, but you just don’t get that level of reflectivity. It certainly still produces a fun glowing image and effect, but in the moment I just remember feeling a bit underwhelmed, however it still looked really good.You can iron this tapestry on low heat (270-300 degrees Fahrenheit which is “wool” setting on my iron) to help get rid of the fold lines, but running it through a delicate washer cycle and medium temperature dryer cycle much more efficiently removes these creases. I did not witness any damage to the tapestry, image, colors, or reflectivity after the washer and dryer, but did notice some of the threads in the corners starting to hang down more. However, the tapestry remained in tact and looked WAY better than straight out of the packaging with all the creases.This beautiful, yet very thin tapestry is a colorful image with lovely details that does react under various black lights, however, it doesn’t glow to such an impressive degree that it will blow you away. All black lights will produce pleasing results, but in my opinion, traditional fluorescent tubes create better results than LED black lights. I highly recommend washing on a delicate cycle and drying on medium temperature first to remove the fold creases of this tapestry.Don’t get me wrong, it’s still really cool and looks really good, but it just didn’t blow me away when I first experienced this under black light. I will still hang this and will have fun looking at it, and others still really liked what they saw.4.25 stars out of 5
