Nice curtains at a great price

Those were nice curtains. Material and design were high quality. But unfortunately they didn't fit as expected against the wall and decorum colors in the living room, even though I took pictures of them before purchasing and tried visually to match against room walls,when they were installed, the " real" colors showed under prevalent light and color conditions in the room. The curtains then looked a mismatch.Other than that, the are well made and arrive promptly and quickly.

Blackout Curtains That Actually Work!

So! I got the 52 x 72 black curtains. What I sort of got from all the reviews is that the curtains were good, but the darker the color, the more blackout they were. To that end, I went with the Black color and I do not regret it in the least. Black against our gray wall is striking, yes, and in many cases would be toooo much, but the silver appliqué tones it down (I didn’t know silver could tone it anything down), and the shinyness of the silver helps brighten the space. The fabric is soft, and movable, and is as far as I can tell 100% blackout. The only light that gets into the room from the window is from the sides and the top, but that’s something we can easily fix by installing the right sort of light guard. It comes with little Velcro ties that look good and work well. I had to get 2 sets, because we’ve got 3 narrow windows side by side, but it covered the entire length, and isn't too big.Now, I will admit that we do have blinds underneath the curtains, but that said, by the sheer amount of light that used to hit our eyes every morning with the blinds closed, I really do think is the fabric of the curtains itself that seems to be doing the majority of the work. I, not sure why these are advertised for a nursery, as think the pattern is something more suitable for a grown up room, but either way, it works and i would recommend it to anyone.
