I was worried these were going to look tacky but they actually ended up looking super nice - they look more expensive than they are. They do scratch easily, though from far away it's not noticeable. I used the anchors provided and they had no problem holding up our very heavyweight blackout curtains (pictured, beige). One slight critique is that the square knobs at the end are pretty big, but I covered them up a little with the bulk of our curtain. Overall, very pleasantly surprised with this product.
