These turned out beautifully. They're surprisingly lightweight, yet solid--able to hold our very heavy, long velvet curtains. The color was accurate so I was able to match the clip rings (Ivilon Drapery Curtain Clip Rings in Warm Gold), ordering both at the same time from Amazon, and it worked. We found the rod measurements also accurate in terms of adjustment. However, due to us not having studs exactly where we needed them on the sides of our windows, my husband had to go to the hardware store for longer screws and anchors; they weren't expensive and the end result was worth the extra trouble. I still think this was an excellent value--I couldn't have gotten this look for this price from any store in my area. I would still buy these rods with the extra screws and anchors again. Happy hanging!

Sturdy, pretty, and professional

This is my second time buying these curtain rods, and likely won't be the last. I needed something nice to match the other hardware in our library and these seemed reasonably priced and like a good color match. We've had the first set for about a year and decided we wanted to get matching curtains for the sliding glass door, so we bought the same rods.The quality of the rods is very good; they feel sturdy and the length is very easy to adjust without feeling like the join is wiggly or might snap.My husband has commented both times about the instruction booklet that comes with the rods. He says it's very professional and just a nice touch for the overall product. Neither of us needs an instruction manual to hang curtain rods, but I agree that it is a good addition.I particularly like the curve at either end of the rod, as it allows the curtains to wrap around slightly and seal off the cold air nicely. The curtains also move very well on the rods and I haven't had any issue with snagging yet; I'm unsure if that's due to the curtains we chose or the rods themselves or a combination of the two.We only moved into this house a year and a half ago, so we're still slowly getting it put together. We haven't gotten around to curtains for the kitchen or dining room yet, but we'll be getting the same curtain rods for those and we may eventually replace the curtain rods in the living room as well so that the whole first floor matches.
