Beautiful Statue. I wanted something to remember our day, and this fit the bill perfectly. It's sturdy and well done. Might be a little large for a wedding cake topper, but if the cake is large enough then it would work.
Sadly, I wanted to give this as a gift but I really can't do that in good conscience. In theory this wedding statue should be a great execution: it's a beautiful design with gold accents, the real 3D lace-like "veil" is a very nice touch I have never seen, and it depicts newlyweds having a loving embrace. The execution fell very short. Even though it's made of resin (plastic), I did not expect the imperfections (see photo #4). It doesn't look like too much in the photo, but it is definitely more obvious in real life and it definitely adds to that cheaper look. The gold accents are not fully painted: see the bride's crown or flower on top of her head? It is only partially painted with gold. This kind of piece should only be made in ceramic. If it's made in resin (plastic), it shouldn't have these flaws. Don't give this to a newlywed couple in the styrofoam and cardboard box. If I were to gift it (which I won't), I'd put it in a basket with a gift card or bottle of champagne for their honeymoon. I would wrap it in cellophane or a similar beautiful plastic wrap and tie with ribbons.
