Sturdy and good quality!

I have two large/long (88 inches) windows and was concerned that the rods be very sturdy. These rods do the trick! My husband and I installed them easily and all the hardware needed was included (screws, support bracket etc.) There were extra screws just in case as well. We didn't end up using the middle support bracket as our room has ceiling beams that don't allow the rod to be too far above the window and we didn't want to install the bracket into the actual window trim. The rod is very sturdy even without the middle bracket. I have mid-weight blackout style curtains that can be closed without the rod bowing down at all. The style is lovely and I love that the curtains can just wrap around the edge for a clean look. I may buy more for other rooms now that I know the quality!

Drapes catch on joint

They look nice, and I didn't hear any complaints about mounting them from my maintenance man. Only negative, that would make is that my drapes get caught on the part where the two pieces come together. If you can find a way to make that transition a little smoother, I would give it five stars.

I'm glad I bought the set of two, I really like this rod. I have hung one and I stretched it nearly all the way to 48 in and did not need the middle support. Since I was only hanging one curtain that is what I needed - I put the rod together without the curtains on it, put it where I wanted it, used a level then marked with a pen through the holes - that way You know the rod will screw in perfectly once you get the ends in place. It did not come with hardware so I used plastic anchors with long screws.

Perfect for created a super dark room

These are exactly what I was looking for! I hate when light leaks around the edge of the curtain. The wrap around solves that problem making the room as dark as possible. These were easy to hang and have been performing just as they should. I only wish they came in a few more colors.
