Great blinds, perfect fit, VERY easy to mount!

This review is for the no-drill version. Just received and installed yesterday so I can't say how durable it will be but out of the box I'm very happy with it. I was a bit worried about sizing since it's so precise and I needed a custom size but I measured as exact as I could down to 1/16" and it was a perfect fit.I also didn't know what to expect as far as it being called "blackout" but it is pretty much exactly that. There is a tiny space on the sides that is required, otherwise you run the risk of it not fitting, but the material itself is pretty much light proof.I love how it raises and lowers just by grabbing the bottom and pushing it up or pulling it down gently (it comes with small handles you can attach or detach). This is much better than the old blinds I had which used the old fashioned string method.It's also very lightweight.Mounting was a breeze and took all of 1 minute. It took me longer to take the old blinds down because they were attached to brackets that were screwed in and installed by the previous owner, so I wasn't sure how to take those down. But once I got that taken care of, these literally took less than a minute to install.Shipping was very fast too. I think it shipped from China and arrived 3 days earlier than the earliest estimated date.Overall, great blinds and exactly what I needed. Installation is a piece of cake, the material blocks as much light as you would want, sizing was perfect, just make sure to provide the exact measurements of the inside of the window.

Very nice shade that helps protext against heat

I live in south Florida, 100 to 108 temperatures every day for for the past three weeks and will continue throughout the summer months into the Fall. I have been keeping my lights off, shades closed, etc. to help protect against the heat as the sun beats down on my villa home. I had researched and talked to blinds companies, they said the honeycomb design is best to trap the hot air coming through the windows. I ordered this honeycomb shade, it is a lovely, neutral beige color, it is opaque so it blocks light and compared to the film I had up, it is seeming to keep the heat from flowing into the two rooms I put them in, my master bedroom and my den. I don't think anything will be 10%5 effective, but I can say that both of these rooms felt cooler than they had before, so I am happy with this purchase. It takes five minutes to install but be sure to measure your window frame correctly, this was my third try to get it right, order one half inch less than your inside window frame if that is where you will be placing it. They do have measuring information on their item description, as well. The shade looks nice from the inside and the outside and it goes up and down very easily.

Effective

There are several windows in our new rental that don't have good shades to block out light, so we decided to try these. So far so good, we've had them for a month and no issues. I pull them up and down daily and they are holding up. Fairly easy to install. We got two custom and two from stock. The custom ones turned out perfect, I was a little worried because they can't be returned, but we used a laser to measure so our measurements were accurate. The two from stock worked well also. The company did not reach out to us to confirm measurements like others have mentioned. The material feels a little flimsy, like thin paper, so that's my only concern. We were able to put these shades behind blinds that were already installed. They block out the light very well.
