It's really cute and the music box, that you grind, has nice tone. It's just VERY small. That suits some people, and perhaps not others. It's very hard to read the writing on it. Also I put a little stick on tab on the lid of mine to give to my daughter, so she can lift the lid to see the text. The lid is a bit difficult to lift sometimes.
I wanted something small that showed meaning to give to my daughter on her wedding day before she walked down the aisle. When she was little every day, I used to assume you are my sunshine to her. This music box was teeny tiny, but it describe my daughter in detail and the words that were etched in it, and it played that you are my sunshine song. She broke down in tears when I gave it to her, and it will always be a precious memory for her. It wasn’t’ expensive, but it meant a lot to her.
Cute- made well. Music is loud for tiny box. Well printed. My daughter loved it. Great value and nice trinket to place in a bedroom or on a desk.
It was smaller than expected (I did not read reviews), however the intricate details are beautiful! My daughter loved it! She loved the fact that it was a music box that you turned, and that it was small and cute! My granddaughter saw it and wanted one of her own! So I ordered another! Just a different style! It’s a WINNER!
Tiny! Absolutely tiny. Only plays music if you crank the handle. So tiny I can’t read what’s on the inside lid.
MUCH smaller than you think: Read the Dimensions!!! Bought this for my 2 year old for Xmas and we love it! The perfect, lil dainty music box for a sweet, little girl. It is fragile... so I wouldn't let my 2yo play with it alone. The lid hinge broke off after like 5 months of not so gentle use. So I really can't complain!
My daughter absolutely loves this music box! Sense she was a baby i would sing this song to her! The message on the music box makes it more meaningful!
