Wow. Seriously impressive candle!!

These came quickly, and I spent a little more than I thought I should for a set of 2.75 in diam. candle. But they really do last 40 hours and longer. We took the tip of another reviewer who said to roll the edge of the candle wax in toward the candle periodically. So after burning one night, I did it around noon the next day, and then again in the evening. After 2 days (now about 42 hours) we just rolled the edge in again - see pic. We did not attempt to trim wicks, or anything like that, just roll the edge in a bit like the picture. The candle is outside, and the wind would tend to shorten the longevity, but we do have this glass cylinder chimney that gives it some protection. They burn forever

I bought these for a metal grate holder in my fireplace, for Christmas, and here it is August - I burned them for several hours straight on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, I lit them for 30 min to 2 hours another half dozen times throughout the year, and I’ve just had them going straight through the night while we rode out hurricane Idalia, in case the power went out. They’re all still lit! They’re about half their original height and clearly have lots of life left in them. It’s been a continuous 15 hours at this point. Very, very pleased.

Nice candles but do drip

These are nice, solid, long lasting candles but they do drip slightly. Most have thin drip lines that puddle on the bottom. If you're using a metal or glass holder you can easily break off the puddles from their surface but I would hesitate to use them on anything else. I wound up scraping the paint off my wood candlesticks trying to get off the wax. I do like the slightly thinner size as they fit nicely in smaller holders and also give that extra drip room.
