Great for photos on the fridge, too!
This is a review of the Boloyo Acrylic Business License Display HolderIt's a well made holder. The acrylic is 1/8 inches thick, so it's pretty sturdy.The top and bottom borders are about an inch thick - anything less than 3.5 inches tall will fall out the back.The gap that you slide the license into is also 1/8 inches thick.We actually stuck magnetic tape on the corners of the holder so that we can stick it on the fridge.We use it to display photos and postcards without having to have magnets stuck on top of them.It works great for that!The specs are correct - anything taller than 5.5 inches tall won't slide in.Since the ends are 'open', you could stick things in that are wider than 8.5 inches if you don't mind it sticking out.It came with 4 adhesive double sided pads so you can stick it onto the wall. We didn't use them.One interesting note: Unlike most acrylic things I've bought off Amazon, this one had protective film all over the front. The film is stuck on pretty tightly. So tightly in fact, that it comes with a small sandpaper board that you use to pull the film off! (or at least, pull enough that you can pinch it with your fingers and pull it off). Nice touch.

Multiple uses and strong hold
I originally looked at these for their intended purpose as door nameplates, but I realized they would be perfect for something else—displaying my little one's school pictures and art! I am so glad I took the chance because they work perfectly.The acrylic is crystal clear and thick, giving the photos a really high-end, modern "floating" look that is much nicer than just taping things to the wall or fridge. Because they are designed to slide paper in and out, I can easily update the photo whenever my child brings home a new one without taking the holder off the wall.I was a little worried about the installation, but the sticky tabs included are excellent. They adhered strongly to my door/wall surface immediately and haven't budged, even with me sliding photos in and out. It’s such a clean, minimalist way to create a little gallery for your kids. Thick material, should work well
This item is as shown and described. It seems like it will hold up over time. Its made of thick material. It came with eight stickies to hanging up. For most with a permanent business location, this would be convenient. I mostly am outdoors and don't really have a specific place to hang it. Hopefully, this will help protect my license and keep it dry.
