I bought this curtain rod to hang a quilt on; the rod is very sturdy and holds the quilt well; however, it sticks out from the wall too far and I replaced the wall brackets with brackets that are wall hugging (closer to the wall). Looks great for the location in my home and the purpose for which I bought it.

This set of two extra long curtain rods is made from heavy duty pipe sections that screw together and feel very sturdy once installed. The faux wood grain finish looks decent from a distance but is clearly painted on up close, and you can see the seams where the pieces connect. Assembly is easy but a bit time consuming since everything screws together. It comes well packaged and includes all the hardware needed for installation. The rods easily support heavier curtains, which is a big plus. Overall, despite the visible seams and painted finish, this is a solid and functional curtain rod set that I would recommend for strength and value.
