These curtains are definitely blackout and they are very colorful. The sun comes in my bedroom window and these curtains block it. The curtains are really colorful if that is what you are wanting. I love them, they have weight to them and they were not wrinkled when they arrived. They really hang really well.
I’m genuinely impressed with these curtains. The fabric is thick and high quality, and the color is rich and vibrant in person, not dull or washed out like some blackout curtains can be. The length is perfect for our doorway. As soon as I hung them up, I noticed an immediate difference in the room temperature. They block cold air extremely well, making the room feel noticeably warmer and more insulated. I live in a school bus full-time in Michigan, and even during single-digit and negative degree temperatures, these curtains block any cold coming from our glass doors.They also do an excellent job at light blocking. Gorgeous! Thick. But! The reds are more pink. They clashed with everything in my room because I decorated in red. I kept them so long trying to make them work, but I ended up giving all four sets away because pink is pink. I needed red. Sigh.
