Updated: Beautiful Junk

Update 11/01/23:Unfortunately as anticipated the fringe has become the fault point. In two short weeks the area rug and one of the runners has started unraveling at the fringe line. That’s a manufacturing defect and completely unacceptable. Lowered my rating and would definitely no longer recommend this product. Pic added of the unraveling on the area rug. Reduced my rating to 1 star but then the review was relegated to the basement so the review wouldn't be seen.Original review:This is a really beautiful rug. It has a no slip backing which does sort of stop the rug from slipping out from under you as you walk across it but doesn't stop it from gradually "walking" across the floor as you traverse across it throughout the day so the grippers are still needed. It has fringe at either end which gets to looking shabby quickly but can be smoothed back into place easily. I'm guessing this will be the spot where the rug deteriorates first. Another important item to note is that you are supposed to use the hard floor setting on your vacuum. It is also rather thin so do not expect to get any cushioning from this rug, although it does provide some sound deadening. It's too large to fit into my washing machine but it's nice to know that IF I can find a commercial laundry with the larger machines that I could wash it. Overall it's a nice rug and I liked it enough that I have purchased the larger area rug to compliment the runner.

Perfect if you have pets

I’m really pleased with this rug. We had a long wool runner in our hall, but our dog Ella kept marking the old rug when she would see other dogs pass by our house, ruining it. So we needed something washable. It’s quite thin but that’s what makes it machine washable. I may try adding a pad underneath but overall am very happy with the purchase. It stays put. I didn’t rate whether it’s easy to clean because I haven’t tried yet. It is beautiful , well made and doesn’t look cheap. I wish it was delivered rolled up as there are folds in it which I hope will smooth out over time or when it needs to be washed.Update: My dog was able to move the rug when she would run full speed if she sensed someone walking past the house, so I bought a pad for it today and now it’s staying in place.

Beautiful rug and soft

I love this rug so much. I first ordered and then sent back a 5 x 7, it wasn't big enough for our space. And felt very so-so, but once I exchanged for the larger 6 x 9 I fell in love with it. The colors are gorgeous and go perfect with my boho coastal home. Its actually very soft under the feet surprisingly for a thin rug, we did not use a pad under it. My robo vaccuum has trouble getting over it strangely but thats no fault of the rug. We have a puppy who had a poopoo accident and it cleaned nicely with vinegar and soap spray and blotting. Have yet to machine wash. That may be a challenge with the size so well see...will update once that happens...otherwise LOVE the rug and am very happy with it. Absolutely recommend!

Beautiful rug with nice color scheme

I can't speak to longevity because I just got it, but it's a beautiful rug with a soothing color scheme and design. The color is a bit more vivid overall than it looks in the product pictures, but that's fine with me because my furniture is so neutral. I like the pop of color. Packaged well and arrived at promised time. One star taken off because the print on one side is noticeably faded more than the other. I would have preferred a more consistent color application across the whole rug. It's not enough of a concern for me to return it, but it could irk someone more particular. As for me, I'll chalk it up to character/ vintage uniqueness. Other than that, I really like it! I hope it washes easily in the future.

Beautiful Rug - Just What We Needed

Okay, it wasn't exactly what we needed. We returned it and bought the same rug in a darker color but that doesn't mean the rug isn't beautiful and well made. Had to put some rubber under it because it was sliding around a bit but aside from that it's perfect for us. We have a dog and a yard and this rug is easy to keep clean. It's been a couple months now and there are no stains. It's a very nice rug. I highly recommend it. I expect it will be in our house and still looking beautiful in years to come.
