This was a huge hit on Christmas!!

I thought this looked great from the photos online so I took a chance and gifted it to my nephew who is 9 and entering a big video game phase. It was a huge success on Christmas! The colors are so bright and fun, even the older folks who don’t know about video games thought it was cute and “something crazy for the kids to run around on”. He laid it out right away and all the cousins played on it for the rest of Christmas. I felt bad for my other family members’ gifts that got forgotten after the rug lol.When it arrived to me first, I unboxed it right away (it was folded, not rolled by the way) to vacuum it and let it settle out in case it had wrinkles. Many rugs I order online either have a smell that needs time to dissipate, or benefit from a first vacuuming in order to remove any extra fuzz or fabric. I was surprised to note that this rug had almost no creasing at all! Only 1 minor fold line down the middle, which is awesome considering how large the rug is and how small it was folded for transport.I vacuumed it right away using a low suction option without a brush. There was no extra fuzz or junk to be pulled off the rug, but I felt good about vacuuming it anyways. It vacuumed nicely! This rug is a little more on the lightweight side, so the gentle mode of vacuum is necessary. It is also helpful to hold down the corners with something heavy so the vacuum doesn’t pull it up. Besides that, the rug laid absolutely flat without any curling edges or buckling at all. No smell! The backside features a lightly textured anti-slip grip so it would be suitable to put on wood floor or tile without a gripper. But, a separate gripper or a rug backing would increase the plushness and underfoot feel of this rug, as it is pretty thin.That being said, the target audience for this rug is likely someone young and rambunctious, and someone who does not care about a luxurious underfoot feel lol. This would be really cool and popular for a dorm room as well. Easy to roll up and throw in the car. Great value overall, and an awesome way to get a lot of color and character into a room without a lot of effort.

Better for a child not a teen

It a big and would look nice next to a kids bed.* It feels like good quality and well made. It won’t show dirt easy and it’s easy to clean with a vacuum or broom. The design hides any dirt.* The design is beautiful. I kind of wish I had ordered the other version, but this one looked the best to me at the time I ordered it. Maybe my son would have preferred the other design. The issue with the other design was it had flames and I didn’t like that.No likes:My son doesn’t like it. He doesn’t want it on his floor. He thinks it’s too kid like and better for a young boy and not a teen.Would I pay full price for this product: Probably not! My son doesn’t want it on his floor and has considered covering his wall with it, I’m against that idea. Super soft! Looks awesome!

Got this rug for my son’s room and he absolutely loves it! The picture doesn’t do it justice, but it looks fantastic and is so soft the touch! - It ended up being the perfect size for under his twin-size loft bed! - I have been pleased to see it holding up quite nicely to him and his brothers playing on it a lot - We have it sitting on carpet, but the bottom of it would certainly do well on hardwood as the bottom is a material that feel like it would give a bit of a grip to it - 10/10 Totally happy with this one and would get again!
