Helps block out more light and give a more polished appearance.
I really like these wrap-around curtain rods. I have them in my bedroom where I have four windows, and they work great for blocking extra light. I got this one for our guest room that faces east, so it will keep it darker in there in the mornings.Because the rod curves back behind itself, the curtains wrap around and actually touch the wall on each side. That helps block more light compared to standard curtain rods that leave a gap at the ends. If you pair these with good blackout curtains, it can make your bedroom feel like midnight in the middle of the day.NOTE: Make sure you use curtains that are plenty wide so you can have the curtains go to the wall on the sides and still meet in the middle.Another thing I like about this design is the cleaner look. Since the rod wraps around, the base hardware is mostly hidden (unless you slide the curtains all the way to one side). It gives the whole setup a more finished and polished appearance, and they go with any type of decor.Overall, these are a nice option if you want better light blocking and a more streamlined look for your curtains.
