Great for blocking out light

These curtains are perfect. They look nice in the room while blocking out all the night. I like the linen look and feel to them. They are functional while keeping the aesthetic of our bedroom. Our apartment is next to a factory that keeps the lights on all night, so these curtains were a must when our blinds weren't cutting it for light blocking. My boyfriend also works overnights, and they keep the room dark for him while he sleeps during the day. They were easy to install and slipped right onto the curtain rod we bought, and even though they are heavy curtains we didn't have to buy a particularly expensive rod. They fully cover our large window.

Great curtains!

I have been searching the internet for almost 2 years to find the best, affordable, and luxurious looking white blackout curtains for my living room. I have a big window that gets direct sunlight during the day and makes it hard to see the TV. I didn’t want to cover my big windows with just anything. I originally bought the Pottery Barn Broadway 100% cotton curtains to do the job and they were awful! They looked like paint drop clothes hung over my windows. Way over priced for terrible quality. Then, I found these recommended by a blogger on Pinterest. They aren’t the white I originally wanted, but the Natural color blends very well to the whites, creams, and tans I have throughout the decor of my home. They steam out easily with a Conair hand steamer, which was another issue I had with the Pottery Barn curtains, the wrinkles would not come out no matter what I did. These curtains have a stiff (but not too stiff) feel and the edges look nice a crisp. They are also not extremely heavy. So, you don’t necessarily need a heavy duty rod. They do a great job blocking the sun. I am happy with them and they were a fraction of the cost of expensive curtains, such as Pottery Barn. I used tradition curtain hooks and rings to hang. If you are pick about the look of curtains like me, you can trust these ones.

Great blackout drapes

Because of possibly the funniest Amazon review I’ve ever read for these drapes, I very carefully unfolded these to make sure they weren’t “hairy”. These were brand new, in perfect condition and nice and thick material. I ran them thru a dewrinkle setting in my dryer, hung them then steamed them so remove the creases. They look nice and block out the sun and heat from the half moon window and lower windows. Very happy.

These are absolutely the best curtains ever! The color is very rich looking! The fabric could not be any better if it was the most expensive curtain on Amazon! I wanted a burlap type farmhouse curtain for my bedroom and originally purchased a privacy sheer curtain but when my bedroom was so bright I looked for a semi black out curtain! I don’t like the looks of blackout nor did I want total darkness! I found this curtain with a light backing and it was so inexpensive I ordered it! It met all of my expectations and then some! My room is now a medium dark when I close the curtains! The room during the day with sun out is a little bit darker than right after sunset! Perfect! I bought the burlap tie backs with magnetic closure and I now have a very expensive looking curtain I didn’t think possible for my budget! I did throw them in the dryer on low with a damp towel for about 5 min and no wrinkles at all! I love them so much I ordered more! I read a lot of reviews before I purchase on Amazon and just had to share this great find!
