It may be my imagination, but it seems to that these artificial reeds are more effective than natural reeds to “wick” essential oils into the air. Natural reeds tends to clog and dry up much sooner.
Works great. Diffuses as intended
These are the reeds that are thick like the Jo Malone reeds are. They are more than twice the length of the Jo Malone's and a little longer than the Trudon reeds.

It's all the hype and then some!I have been using Ai for blending fragrances, etc. This diffuser stick was recommended.I started using it a couple of weeks ago and my fragrance is still strong.

The BEST!FINALLY I found the thick round diffuser sticks I was searching for. If you want to actually smell the diffuser oil to perfume the air in your space you need the thick ones to soak up the oil. Makes 100% difference.
