Quality look and well made, but...unusual extension design may cause installation problems.

I installed 3 of these rods, and I'm very happy with the look, the overall quality, and the strength of these rods.Two specific things bothered me, and I'll share with you. These rods are not the typical extending rods that you are likely familiar with. Although the description implies that you can adjust these rods anywhere in between the measurements, that isn't exactly correct. It's hard to explain, but the middle extension piece is longer than you think, and, therefore, there is less flexibility with the total width. That design adds strength, but l was not able to use a rod for windows between 48-84" to make the 54" width I originally wanted. Further, if you intend to use drapery rings on the rods, you'll find that when you draw the drapes, the rings have a difficult time moving past the transition point between the extension and the fixed rods. I made it work, but just a heads up.

Sleek design and functional

Very happy with the product. Sleek looking, reasonably priced, the curved edges work well for the purpose of drapes really covering the edges. I hired a handyman to install so can’t speak to the ease of it, but he didn’t have any issues with it so I take it was pretty standard.I put the drapes on myself and found that handling the rod at full length was not too hard, given I am a petite female. Overall very pleased with my choice and would recommend.

Awful drywall anchors, droops after 10lbs

Pretty but….. Works better if you happen to be lucky enough to have studs to drill into. The drywall anchors are obscenely large and if you had never used a drywall anchor you wouldn’t know the butterfly’s need to be pointing down to go into the wall properly- which is difficult with these. Also, it says it has a weight capacity of 50lbs but it is drooping at the front after 10 so I’m not sure how it would ever hold 50. Debating a return since I’m not sure it will hold up.
