The pipes for each section of the rods were longer than expected, but we were able to trim off the excess length on smaller pipe with a saw, and no one will be the wiser. They are sturdy and the finish looks like a quality finish. There has also been no wearing of the finish over the course of several months, where we are opening and closing the curtains daily.
Love these rods! We installed them about 7 months ago, had my curtains removed to be washed twice, and it was easy to remove and put back.Sturdy and sleek. Does the job beautifully.
I absolutely love this curtain rod. Using 2 separate rods for my corner windows looked funny, but this rod makes it look cohesive and elegant.
Pros: Looks great and is holding up wellCons: Took me a long time to install with the help of my fiance. It's not unmanageable, and the instructions were fine, it was just a tedious task.Overall I think this is a sturdy and good looking curtain rod. The tedious installation is worth it considering it fit my bay window and is pretty customizable with sizing.
Update: Painting is done and these curtain rods was put up.I had to required help in hanging up the curtain rods. Old house to get them look straight is important because everyone notices when they are not! The person who did this for me had no problems.It also took some figure out how to hang the sheers and the curtains on the rods. I didn't have straight forward windows. Why I got this special rod system. I need all the braces because the heaviness of the curtains I was putting up. It was the brace's of the rods fell in odd places because my odd window corners. That cause my problem for me in hang up my sheers and curtains.When you just hanging the sheer or curtains on it as is....it wasn't looking correctly because the brace's was blocking & stopping the flow of the sheers from hanging correctly on the long rod systems. This is where creating math came into play. All the rods brace's was needed to hold up the heave blackout curtains for winter. I really enjoy the look of having it all in one system on the wall.We did some cutting into the sheer to fit over the braces to get it falling correctly do to the brace's in odd places. My curtains had loop backing that help in hanging them between the brace to holding up the rods.After doing this math my sheer look awesome and the curtains fall correctly when open and closed. Most of all really easy to open during the morning sun & closed at night with any effect.
I absolutely love my double pole curtain rod for bay windows. It is very well made, easy to install & put together-especially since it was on bay windows-but does need 2 people to install/hang up correctly. So if you do not have another person to help, I would see if you could higher a handy man that is familiar with installing curtain rods. The material & colors are perfect & well made. They were also very easy to install the curtains. It is so easy to open & close them. My daughter saw them & wants the same exact thing & she is even more picky than me. I would like to get beautifully made finials to match my beach/ocean curtains but haven’t found one yet. Thank you for making an affordable & well made product & I do highly recommend this product.
For starters, the specs are not accurate and had issues getting it rectified. This rod is incredibly difficult to install and difficult to apply curtains onto the rod without it detaching. Every time you attempt to reconnect the hardware, it detaches with very little movement or weight added from the curtains. The brushed gold color scraps off the rod leaving it damaged. Thankfully it’ll be up high with the curtains slightly covering the scratches so no one will see it. Overall, this is a poorly made product from the engineering to the color coating. Don’t recommend purchasing this!
