Sweet little foxy candle
4.5/5 stars - Foxes hold a special place in my heart, so I picked up this sweet little foxy candle for my fall decor.I love that this is handmade from pure, natural, sustainably sourced beeswax from a seemingly conscientious small company. I can immediately tell that it's a good quality of wax, and is the type of product I feel I can burn without fear of harmful ingredients or additives. It's a perfect pumpkin orange fox color and a cute shape, especially how his tail wraps around him.However, I do feel that buyers should be advised that what they are receiving won't look exactly as pictured: it is natural beeswax, and it does have a little bit of a "bloomed" appearance that is more powdery white than shiny orange like in the listing. Also, while this has no added scent, it does have a fairly strong beeswax aroma. That may or may not be your thing!I must admit... I also find the shape of the fox's head just a little off-putting. The candle I received had his ears just a little smushed/melted, but that didn't weird me out as much as him looking a little scoop-faced! I wish he were just a smidge cuter.Overall, I think this is a cute, quality-made candle, and I feel good supporting this company. Still, the effect of it being a cute shape is lost as soon as you start burning it, which means I can't really burn it if I want to enjoy the fox as decor. It's a catch-22! This is a bit pricier than I would generally pay for a candle with no scent that I can't even burn without losing its main value to me.

This little fox candle is very well crafted, and looks very cute. The color is a little more muted than what's shown in the pictures, but it's not by much. As it mentions, there is no particular scent, but if you're close enough to it there's a faint smell of beeswax. It's not strong or very noticeable though. I really didn't want to burn it, but I used it off and on and it lasted over the 20 hour mark by a little bit.

Beautiful for autumn decor
I have used and loved Big Dipper Wax Works beeswax candles before, which is part of the reason why I decided to buy this little fox. I'm happy with my choice - the fox is so cute and well-shaped. There weren't any imperfections to take away from the shape of the fox. The fox came wrapped in tissue paper and was packaged in a sturdy box with additional padding. It's about 4 inches tall, and the base is about as big around as a soda can. The natural bloom that appears on real beeswax candles, that's the sort of frosted look, adds to the appeal of this fox candle. I'm not sure that I'll ever want to actually burn it. It's such a cute addition to my decor for the autumn, and that's how I'm using it now.

Super Cute, Not Scented
I really like foxes, and I also like candles. While scented candles are lovely, there are times and rooms in my house where I don't want heavily scented candles. This is why I was interested in this Big Dipper Wax Works Beeswax Fox Candle.Pros:- Cute fox.- No scent. The only scent that I detect is beeswax.- Small so doesn't take up a lot of room.- Burns cleanly.Cons:- None, except that it isn't as vivid in color as presented.The candle was in great condition. There were no scratches, chips, or marring in any fashion. It doesn't have a strong scent. It only smells like beeswax. This is great for when I want to burn a candle with pets and grandchildren present.It's a lovely color. The color isn't as vivid as presented, but it is still nice. It's small but not tiny. It doesn't take up much space. It has a cotton wick and does burn cleanly. There isn't a bunch of black smoke or soot.Overall, I really like it. It's super cute and a nice, clean candle. It would be a good gift for those who love foxes and candles, especially if they have pets, small children, or are sensitive to fragrances. I think the value is reasonable.
