I ordered this gift for a ministry friend of mine who is going through a rough season. This was one of the best gifts I could have ever given her!The jar arrived well protected and well packaged (see photo)- but did take a **really** long tome to receive- almost 3 weeks- so that was a bummer. A later arrival was ok for me since I didn't have a specific date or occasion in mind for gifting, but something to take note of.This jar of Scripture is really perfect in size. Not too large to take up a ton of space on a desk or nightstand or dresser, but big enough to be noticed. The box it arrived in (along with the really nice extra touch of a wooden gift tag- makes it perfect for gift giving, with or without additional wrapping or gift bagging. The jar has a lightweight cork that just simply sits int eh jar opening. The cork topper did not require a bit of extra strength muscle action to open- perfect gift for someone with a limited mobility in their hands.Scriptures are color coded by theme (again, see photo), which I have seen on other Bible verse jars. The glass jar is of a decent quality so I was pleased with that as well. The difference with this jar of Scripture is that each Scripture reading is laminated, nicely protecting each one, and can endure being used many times over. Pretty nice idea there and something I did not see in other versions of a Bible verse jar. They are folded in half, so over time these creases may wear out, but that is really the goal, right!?!? :)I spent a little time checking a large randomized selection of verses against my favorite online Bible references and found each one to be accurate in terms of text & proper Biblical citation. Scriptures appear to be from the NIV translation-- which may or may not be important to someone so I thought I would mention that here.Really happy with this item. It makes thoughtful gift for a friend, a co-worker, someone in your family or church. I would highly recommend!
First of all I was extremely impressed by the presentation of this item!I was not expecting this to arrive in such a precious, thoughtful box so immediately I realized I needed to order more for gifts when it arrived.Not only was the box of highest boutique quality but inside the glass jar is nicely tucked in foam to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. It contained a rope and charm to tie around the jar neck as well as a sweet note as you will find in my attached pictures.My middle school aged boys were with me when I was unpackaging this and they immediately noted the color coding system and asked if they were allowed to pull out some to read. Mission clearly accomplished! They couldn’t resist going through numerous scripture versus and comparing what was recommended for various feelings.I wanted this to both use for myself as well as use when I noticed big emotions in our house that could use a little direction and calming as only scripture can sometimes give. I was not expecting for my boys to also casually go dabble in it at random bored moments through out the day but that’s exactly what I’ve noted as it has been sitting out on the table by our couch for a week now. I will be ordering more and this may have just become my go to item to buy as a gift!

Each verse is printed on laminated paper, folded so that the verse is hidden. My family really enjoys drawing verses daily from the jar and being inspired. Super cute gift idea! Such a great concept!! I love how the pieces of paper inside have a clear coating over them to help keep them sturdy and reusable, time and time again. The color variety makes it super easy to pick each Bible verse needed for that day. The Bible verses are a large print and easy to read. The jar itself is fairly large and made of glass, or a really hard plastic. Great value! Timeless gift!!
