Great curtains at a great price!

I ordered these curtains to replace old, tattered curtains for our front room. It's always so hard to tell from thumbnail pictures on the web how things will really look. I knew I wanted curtains that were not sheer, but that still let light into the room when closed, as I have plants in the room that like filtered light. These curtains had positive reviews, so I went ahead and ordered them. They are great!! I love them! I hadn't realized how shabby the old ones looked, and these new curtains pull the room together and look more finished. They are not sheer, which I'm very happy about, but they allow lots of light to still come into the room. They're very well made with nice seams, and the grommets have a nice finish. They were super easy to iron (to get all the folds out) and they look great. I highly recommend!

2nd Purchase of BGment Linen Curtains: WHITE 63 inch

I bought multiple brands of sheer linen curtains for privacy when I was setting up my new house (2022). I didn't realize the BGment curtains that I bought in 2022 were returned because of poor quality (panels were of different lengths). This time (SEPT 2024), I bought two pair of pure white sheers, 63 inches to add to the existing bedroom curtains since I wanted additional privacy. I am very pleased with these linen white 63"; it is exactly what the bedroom windows needed. They allow light in yet protect privacy (where I no longer need to hide if I am getting dressed). They hang nicely and are of good quality. I recommend these.45 INCH GREY: JUNE 2022I bought these for a bathroom window, selected mostly based on the 45” length and color (gray). At first I liked the material and the color matched our bathroom perfectly. When hung, however, I realized the hem was drastically uneven across each panel—-47” , then 45”, then 46”, etc. When the panels were closed, the one side was much longer than the other. I would have returned them, but I sew and thought it would be an easy fix. Wrong! I spent a lot of time and energy measuring and trying to get them even to hang correctly. After I fixed the hem, I then realized my neighbor could see through them at night when the bathroom light was on! (So my husband and I probably kept our neighbors entertained!) I made a mistake on purchasing these. Lessons learned.

Translucent--not too sheer--protects privacy

On a quest to find "semi-sheer" curtains that don't sacrifice privacy but which are translucent/transparent enough to admit lots of light, but which are not opaque or blackout. These are the best I've found. In daylight hours they are, basically, opaque if you're outside looking in. Inside looking out, shapes are visible but no detail. (Picture taken on cloudy day--you can see horizon line (rooftops) of buildings opposite but no detail.) At night, when I'm indoors with lights on I feel pretty comfortable. Haven't really tested it, but I suspect you can see bright interior lights on inside from outdoors but still, unlike others I've tried, these are opaque enough so that at night people outside will be unable to see any detail inside except (possibly) obscure shapes of things if they are in close proximity to very bright lights or lamps. I have a privacy advantage, i.e., my unit is on top floor of building so there are no other dwellings exactly opposite which adds to my comfort level but, again, if you are looking for that sweet spot between blackout, on the one hand, and too sheer on the other, these are the best I've found. I've got them in my living/dining area now, and would hang them in my bedroom window too.

Great Curtains, made very well!

These curtains are just what I was looking for, it's so hard to find 72" length. I washed them and dried on low and hung them up. No ironing required. Bought 2 first to make sure they were what I was looking for, just ordered two more. They are somewhat sheer but not see through. Love them so much. We have a log cabin and they look wonderful. Goes with the logs and decor.
