Funny candle perfect for gifting
A traditional “relaxation” or “spa package” has been done one too many times and, frankly, can get boring. So, why not zhuzh it up by doing items for relaxation with a, to keep it appropriate, “work sucked” whodunit theme instead?This candle comes well wrapped. I did take off the plastic wrapping around the nice looking container before posting photos and adding it to the gift bag. Once I did so, I could smell the candle through the professional-looking packaging. It isn’t overwhelming or overpowering, though. The lavender smell is very soothing, and once I took the golden lid off to smell the candle it was even better. The outter packaging has a nice, thick, cardstock feel and all the lettering is gold foiled. There is a small, clear, circular sticker on the backside to hold the top and bottom pieces together. When you remove the top, the candle is nicely settled in a foam bottom so it doesn’t move around. My candle had a well placed sticker, no bubbles, fading, or lopsidedness. It is also full to the top, so I can be more trusting of the 45hour burn time. The jar is like your standard amber glass container, and seems well made, thick enough you won’t have to worry about anything.With the other items I’m including, I hope my mother will get a laugh out of everything and have a good sense of humor about this “spa gift bag.”
