Great Value - Chain Tricky
These Roman shades were a great value for the price. They fit our window well and were relatively easy to install. The only tricky part was shortening the chain to the appropriate length, but after watching a YouTube tutorial we were able to figure it out. The fabric is thick and feels high quality, and they block light very effectively. We specifically chose these over regular curtains so we could keep them rolled up and out of our dog’s reach, which has worked well. The color is attractive and looks clean and polished in the window.

Perfect blinds
Perfect!!!!! I needed something to go on the outside of my window frame to block light when watching movies. I already have blinds and did not want to replace them.These were easy to install and have been an upgrade to soft appeal I was looking for in my home. The color is beautiful. The size is just right. It’s not heavy and it blocks the lighting as advertised.I love these!!!

Blackout Roman Shades
I bought these roman shades for my sister’s house. She has an older house so we had to do an outside mount. I followed the directions for measuring for outside mount and they fit perfectly. I ordered the green ones and I absolutely love them. More importantly my sister loves them. The verigated linen material has a great texture to it and makes them look more expensive than they really are. I love that there is a bar or weight at each fold that keeps those lines sharp. The blackout quality is exceptional. Since they are not sewn you don’t see light through needle holes in the fabric (which I’ve seen on higher priced Roman shades). My sister’s kitchen faces west and is dreadfully hot when she cooks dinner so I’m hoping the thermal quality is just as good and will update my review at a later time. The only real negative is the white beaded cord used to lower and raise them. It is cheap. It feels and looks cheap. It’s also awkward. It’s not weighted and therefore not heavy enough to hang straight on its own. There is a hole in it, but I don’t think you are supposed to nail or screw it to the wall. We just used 3M tape to hold it to the wall. The cord is also a little longer than the window frame because we had to order a slightly longer length due to sizes available. Despite this, I still gave them 5 stars. All the other positives far outweigh the cheap cord. In fact, my sister loved them so much that we ordered 3 more for her sun porch. The next ones will be inside mount, I’ll also review those once we get them installed.Update: we purchased and hung the inside mount in my sister’s sunroom. They look fantastic. Amazing quality (except for that cheap white roller chain). She has noticed it being quite a bit cooler in her sun porch and kitchen which both have west facing windows.

good shades, bad hardware, great seller
Updated to add: seller reached out to me to make it right after seeing my review. Great customer service and standing by their product.Ordered three of these shades in blackout linen for our family room. They look decent and do a nice job of blocking the light. Unfortunately, the installation was a nightmare and made this experience very frustrating. I've ordered roman shades from two other sources in the past, and they all had similar brackets for inside mount. For whatever reason, the brackets provided by this brand are a nightmare. The shades don't click into them properly, and they just seem to fit poorly. In the end, for 6 out of the 9 brackets I installed, I had to sort of jam the shades in. I'm not sure they will stay firmly attached in the long run. Good seller communication though.

great shades perfect fit
Make sure you measure correctly. Seller will contact you after you purchase to verify sizes which i was impressed with. When i received them (so far 6 shades) each one fit perfectly. The shades look great and seem very well made. I have 3 more windows to put them in and i will be ordering them from here again.

Very difficult to raise up and down.... too stiff!
These are the worst roman shades I have ever owned! They are very difficult to raise up an down, wanting to get stuck frequently. They are stiff and probably why they don't raise and lower smoothly. They do block light well but that isn't enough of a positive to purchase these.
