Good curtains!

Very pleased with the curtains. The color and the “weight” of the fabric was as advertised. Though to be clear, these curtains are of a lighter to medium weight - they are not heavy velvet - which is fine for my use. They do block light. They washed up beautifully on a gentle cycle using cool water and then I dried them in the dryer on a lower heat setting. Came out perfect, no wrinkles or shrinkage. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend them.

The good kind of velvet curtains

I received brand new ones, not wrinkly used ones in random plastic bags as is unfortunately common when ordering velvet curtains. They are thick, heavy (make sure you have a sturdy curtain rod), and the "100% blackout" green ones are actually truly blackout per the flashlight test. They are a sophisticated shade of dark olive green and do not look cheap. Only complaints are that they seem to be 1 inch shorter than advertised (compared to my old drapes, I didn't measure) and the rod pocket could be a little larger.
