These are amazing not the stretchy fabric I received when I purchased a different brand. These are def made with fabric that looks and feels luxurious. Made well. The downside is the panels are different sizes but, not extremely off. I can adjust the screw that tightens the pole into place to make it barely noticeable. Good weight so they will drape well.I would def consider them room darkening. Nice tight weave. I like them so much I ordered three more pair for another room in taupe. Eager to see if they are taupe or camelLike another reviewer mentioned. I went ahead and ordered them since the green color I purchased was just as pictured. Will post pic later. The good kind of velvet curtains

I received brand new ones, not wrinkly used ones in random plastic bags as is unfortunately common when ordering velvet curtains. They are thick, heavy (make sure you have a sturdy curtain rod), and the "100% blackout" green ones are actually truly blackout per the flashlight test. They are a sophisticated shade of dark olive green and do not look cheap. Only complaints are that they seem to be 1 inch shorter than advertised (compared to my old drapes, I didn't measure) and the rod pocket could be a little larger.

Good curtains!

Very pleased with the curtains. The color and the “weight” of the fabric was as advertised. Though to be clear, these curtains are of a lighter to medium weight - they are not heavy velvet - which is fine for my use. They do block light. They washed up beautifully on a gentle cycle using cool water and then I dried them in the dryer on a lower heat setting. Came out perfect, no wrinkles or shrinkage. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend them.

Beautiful curtains

Not black out curtains, but does a good job. I feel like the light showing through in the photo isn’t as visible in person. They have a soft luxurious feel and a good weight/durability to them. Easily washable. There are 2 different pockets to slide the rod through. The top pocket is tight on a 1” curtain rod. Mine are in the second pocket, leaving a cute ruffle at the top. I would recommend these curtains and buy more!
