My Books Now Have An Emotional Support Cat!
I'm not a "cat person". I am an "animal person" (mostly a "dog person"). I am also a person who appreciates clever décor and anything that makes my bookshelf look less like a paper avalanche waiting to happen. These bookends are actually one cat split into two pieces - the head on one end and the back half with the tail on the other - which makes it look like a very determined feline is stretching the entire length of my book collection.They're sturdy, solid metal and hold my books in place without sliding around or giving up halfway through the job. Even my heavier hardcovers stay upright instead of slowly leaning like they’re exhausted from being ignored.What I love most is the personality. The little face peeking out on one side and the raised tail on the other makes it look like the cat is either guarding my books or plotting something mischievous. Either way, it adds character without being over-the-top.So no, I’m not becoming a "cat person", but I will absolutely admit this one earned a permanent spot on my shelf. What a fun way to display my books! I have 3 cats and I was looking for a black storage box or trinket to hold books on my console table. This book end is purrfect and matches well with my decor. The cat design is subtle and whimsical without looking cheap. The metal is high quality with excellent attention to detail regarding the cutouts. The metal is black matte with a touch of shine and there are zero scratches, which lends to the quality of the piece. Each section is the proper thickness to remain sturdy in holding books and have a good weight without being too heavy. The bottom is smooth and does not scratch my furniture. I am able to hold 5 hardback books without any issues with stability and the ends match up to display the amused cat. I absolutely love this book end and smile every time I look at the cat. Lightweight but work well
When I first took the BEISE Cat Bookends out of their box, I was concerned with how lightweight they were. I've had trouble with other bookends that couldn't support the weight of books and just slid over, negating the purpose of using a bookend in the first place.However, these are well designed in that they have a long support bracket that goes under the books - in my photo, the two are stacked, so that's the length of each end. Once some heavier weight books were in place, they didn't slide as I'd feared. With paperbacks, I'm not sure the books would provide enough weight to keep them grounded, but for my use, they're fine.The cat design is adorable, and nicely cut out. There were no rough edges or visible imperfections (impurrfections?). The sleepy kitty makes me smile each time I see it.

Great sized color & weight, but they are so beautiful as well.
I love these bookends! They are so cute! They aren't super heavy, but they are sturdy enough to get the job done. Great value for such unique conversation pieces. Excellent gift for the cat lovers in your life. Can't promise that your cat or cats will leave your bookcase alone, but at least they won't easily push these into there floor. They are a great sizes that shouldn't be too easy to push.

These are on the small side, but are mad of quality steel with a black matte finish. I was going to use them for some books, but instead I’m using them for my video game collection. And they are the perfect size for that. The design is adorable; and you can use them facing either way. There are four rubber pads on each bookend to keep them from scratching surfaces. Although their weight is fairly light, The do a great job of holding up books as the bottom plates are long and wide; the weight of the books will keep the bookends in place without sliding. There were no rough edges on mine and were smooth to the touch. Very pleased with the price and value. An excellent gift for readers and cat lovers!

Playful Lightweight Cat Bookends
These bookends are very light, thin, and take up very little space, but do a mighty job at holding up books. I wanted to replace some heavy bookends we had with something with a bit more personality and these have been great. The black cat design is fun and playful and I love the bowtie collar on the cats. I really liked all three designs that were available. The bookends are made of jet black steel and are around 6" tall. They look great on our bookshelf against books of various sizes. These bookends are quite sturdy to be so lightweight and upon placing them on the bookshelf, none of the books have moved even a little bit. These are a great find and a reasonable price for high quality whimsical cat-themed home decor.
